All product data comes from the Amazon Product Advertising API and our editorial database. Price snapshots are captured once daily into our internal price-history table; no Amazon HTML is scraped. Category averages are simple arithmetic means of all products with a parseable price string. The "Notable Price Movements" table compares each product's earliest and latest snapshot inside the trailing 90-day window. We rank movements by absolute percentage change, not by direction.
